Hi forum ,
My Beovision avant 55 lcd is defective, narrow lines and purple screen (whilst we were watching tv) .
First question is how to dismantle it to get to the pcb's
Second question is , familiar problem and how to cure it ?

From my personal experience, the first time (out of many) this happened to me, the engineer had to replace a video board. B and O used to refurbish them (the boards) to use as replacements (before they fail again) . You will need to contact your local dealer who will have an engineer to assist. But it sounds very much like one of the video boards will need changing.
